To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Macy’s Parade, 9510 limited edition NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) powered by Sweet will become collectibles of a unique kind.

In honor of this legacy, we re-created the Parade in a new form, using NFTs, to pass on the beauty to a whole new generation of people while collecting money for our partner, Make-A-Wish.
In the early 2000s, REOMETRY, a digital firm founded by REO and Seth Brown, began creating NFTs based on Macy’s existing archives and original content.
Macy’s will produce 10 balloons, each of which will represent a heritage character or decorative figure from the Parade’s 95-year history, beginning in the late 1920s and ending in 2010.
On November 19, a special auction featuring 10 one-of-a-kinds Macy’s Parade NFTs will begin as part of the celebration.
The Macy’s Parade NFT bidding process will start at Noon on November 19 and will end at 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, November 30.
Approximately $10 million will be donated to Make-A-Wish by selling these ten Epic digital treasures on macys.com/NFT.
Macy’s has additionally created its smart contracts so that whenever Macy’s Parade NFTs are sold in the secondary market on compatible markets, an additional 10% donation goes to Make-A-Wish.
The 95th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will begin live on Thanksgiving Day in New York City at 10:00 am ET on Thursday, November 25, and fans will be able to claim a free generative NFT at that time.
The gratis NFT distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Supporters may also enter for a chance to win $10,000 by collecting their NFTs.

In addition to being carbon-neutral, Polygon Blockchain NFTs will be easy to collect, trade, and sell for Parade fans thanks to Sweet’s consumer-first NFT platform.
When Macy’s Parade NFT owners sell their old NFTs on the NFT aftermarket on compatible markets, Make-A-Wish will receive 10% of the proceeds.
In those cases, Make-A-Wish will receive a 10% residual fee from the sale of each one-of-a-kind NFT.
