While a 240-volt wall socket takes around 6-8 hours to charge a battery from 0-80%, Tesla with its level 3 turbocharger on top of an in-built 7.7 kW charger does the same in mere 15-30 minutes. Plus, it takes roughly an hour to completely charge the batteries. The variants for all new Tesla Model 3 are unique with extensive features and tech amenities. Let’s have a look:
Model 3 Base Model: The base variant comes with heated and power-adjustable front seats; LED headlights; split-folding rear seats; 18-inch wheels; and keyless entry/start. Plus, it has an:

Long Range Trim: This variant supports a larger 258kW battery, impeccable 346 horsepower, and 389 lb-ft. of torque, as well as an 11.5-kW charger that slightly shortens charging time. Moreover,, it supports an extended 15-speaker audio system, an all-wheel-drive, LED fog lights, floor mats, and heated rear seats.
Performance Trim: Lastly, the Performance trim variant has a 340kW battery that produces 450 horsepower, an 11.5-kW charger, and 471 lb-ft. of torque. This model has 20-inch wheels with P235/35R20 summer tires; a carbon-fiber spoiler, a high-performance driving mode, larger brakes, and a sport-tuned suspension.
